Meet Monique Pool, 55, often referred to as the “Sloth Lady” of Suriname. She’s the founder and director of Green Heritage Fund and her organization has rescued over 1000 sloths since their inception in 2005. Pool is the latest subject of my project Kindred Guardians, this is her story.
